Terms of Use

Road Roast License Agreement between you and Jarda, LLC, the developer of Road Roast. Effective date: set at first release.

This app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement when you get it from the App Store, and under these terms on any platform, together with the additional terms below. If these terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA for an App Store download, these additional terms control only where the Standard EULA allows it.

1. Route guidance

YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME ROUTE GUIDANCE APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. LOCATION DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE.

Directions, distances, arrival times, speed limits and map data can be wrong, late or missing. Always obey traffic laws, road signs and conditions, and use your own judgment. Never interact with your phone while driving; set your destination before you move or pull over first.

2. Content

Road Roast's voice is comedy. It mocks your driving and, if you choose the Rude or Filthy settings, uses profanity. Clean mode is the default and avoids profanity. The voice does not describe real people and is not advice.

3. Your data

Trips, drive logs and "grudges" (places you missed a turn) stay on your device unless you share them. See the privacy policy for what the app sends, such as route requests to the map provider.

4. Subscriptions

Demo drives, the map, search and route previews are free. Road Roast voice guidance on real drives requires a subscription after the free trial. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Map providers

Maps and directions come from Apple Maps on iPhone and Mapbox on Android, under their own terms. Map data © Apple, © Mapbox, © OpenStreetMap contributors, as shown in the app.

6. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JARDA, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. JARDA, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Jarda, LLC harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the application or your violation of these terms or any applicable law.

8. Feedback

If you provide feedback or reviews, you grant Jarda, LLC a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable license to use such feedback for any purpose.

9. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in St. Petersburg, Florida.
